A Letter To The Brides Impacted By COVID-19
Dear Brides,
When planning a wedding, no bride thinks to account for a global pandemic to come in and disrupt their plans. While we always make a backup plan for weather or similar circumstances, the effects that COVID-19 has had on our bride friends was something that never could have never been planned for. We have seen first hand how the day you have been counted down to gets pushed farther and farther back. With everyone concerned about their jobs and loved ones, we sympathize with you as you now stress about your wedding too. We invest so much into the big days of each of our brides so please believe us when we say that we share your frustration. However, we are here for you through this tough time and admire your persistence when times are difficult.
We know that sometimes it feels as if your wedding day will never come. Our heart breaks with all of our brides every time we have to call a vendor to reschedule or send out an updated save-the-date. However, we know that these circumstances are not permanent. Your wedding does not mean less and is no less important or special. Although, we know that might be difficult to see in the midst of all of this craziness. While we cannot make your wedding date come any sooner and cannot will the pandemic away, we can let you know that we are here with you through this process.
The couple whose weddings were affected but this virus often gets lost in the shuffle of everything happening. It’s easy for this monumental milestone in your life to look small in comparison to the historical events that we are currently living through. Please know that is not true. Your wedding is just as important now as it would have been on its intended date. Although it is a very isolating time, you are not alone in this struggle. Furthermore, you are not selfish for being upset that a day you have looked forward to for so long is now postponed. It is a natural reaction and believe me when I saw that our hearts break for you during this time.
We admire your decision to postpone your wedding for the greater good of your friends and family. Your selfless decision speaks volumes. The Taylor Dawn team looks forward to your wedding days even more now. We know all of the anticipation that went into this day and all of the extra time and money that went into moving your wedding date. We cannot wait to see everything come together to create your dream wedding… even if it’s happening a little later than expected. We love all of our brides and are grateful for all of your strength and patience. As always, we are honored to be a part of your wedding.
Warmly,
The Taylor Dawn Team
